Sterility is crucial when working with mushroom cultures to prevent contamination from bacteria, mold, and other microorganisms. Contamination can ruin your culture, cause infections, and even lead to the growth of unwanted microorganisms that can outcompete your mushroom mycelium.

All of our genetic work is done in a clean class 100 in accordance with iso 5 cleanliness. We maintain sterility in our lab by working in front of a yanning iso 5 flowhood that filters out 99.99 % of airborne particles and contaminants down to 0.03 microns.

We take great care in selecting and maintaining our mushroom genetics. Our cultures are derived from high-quality, disease-free specimens and are regularly tested to ensure their genetic integrity. We use a rigorous selection process to identify and propagate only the strongest, most resilient genetics, which results in healthier, more vigorous cultures.
Strength of genetics comes from stability running the genetic over and over again until it’s comfortable. While doing some selective breeding and isolating phenotypes we take some clone tissue and with that t-1 we select growth for a monoculture.

We supply our cultures in nutrient liquid and charcoal agar plates.
